We had two big "firsts" for Ansley today. This morning she had her first trip to church! Despite the freezing temperatures and torrential rains, we were determined to go to church today. We'd planned on going for several weeks and she either had a bad night or we were out of town. It was very exciting to introduce her to all of our wonderful friends at church. :) Ansley was very well behaved and slept most of the service. She did let out a little whimper right when the priest was talking about baptism. Daniel and I were a little nervous she might start wailing, but the congregation found the timing of her whimper hysterical.
The other big "first" of course was the snow we had here in Clemson today. We heard from friends and family in Atlanta all day that snow was falling and we had nothing but rain until about 5:30. Then, within an hour the snow began accumulating to over an inch. We wanted to take her outside but we were worried it was too wet and cold. And we're pretty sure that she would have been miserable! Instead, I stood with her in front of the dining room window and Daniel took the picture above.
